Saints vs Buccaneers Predictions and Picks
New Orleans is currently ranked 20th in passing yards, 29th in rushing yards, 30th in points scored, and 22nd in points against. The Saints are struggling, but that doesn't mean they won't put up a fight against a division opponent. Over a month ago, this team lost at home to the Bucs 23-3. However, since then, the offense is trending up and the defense has been playing decent. Rookie Tyler Shough has taken over at quarterback and will look for a better first half on offense.
Tampa Bay is ranked 19th in passing yards, 21st in rushing yards, 17th in points scored, and 23rd in points allowed. The Bucs just ended a three-game losing streak and finally got the defense in check again. Their offense is getting healthier with running back Bucky Irving back and wide receiver Mike Evans potentially returning from injury soon. Irving will look to have a solid day against the Saints' below-average rushing defense. Also, the Buccaneers have won the last three matchups against New Orleans and will look for a good effort on both sides of the ball.
Best Bet: Under
The Saints' offense has been inconsistent all season, but the defense has shown some fight lately. The Bucs recovered after three brutal losses, but the offense didn't score that much against a below-average Cardinals team, and they also barely won the game. Tampa's defense is still a good strength for the team.
